Membership in Friends of Rock Bridge Memorial State Park The Friends of Rock Bridge Memorial State Park (FoRB) is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization founded in 1992 to promote understanding, appreciation and enjoyment of the natural and cultural resources of Rock Bridge Memorial State Park and to aid in the preservation of the park. Some of our current members were part of a group of Columbians that raised the original funds to preserve the land as a state park in 1962. Today our members, over 200 of us, put our mission into action through volunteer service, fundraising, educational programs, and advocacy. Click here for a printable membership form.
A call for all members to assist in building FoRB's membership! Many of our friends, neighbors, & relatives enjoy hiking, biking, birding, geocaching, orienteering and other activities in the park. We need these folks as members of FoRB! Talk to friends, neighbors & relatives about the park, give them the membership form in your newsletter. Brochures, newsletters and applications are available at the FoRB office (573-815-9255) and at the park. FoRB needs you to be an ACTIVE member. There are lots of opportunities for YOU to be involved to support the park that YOU use, love and enjoy. So offer up some of your time and talent to this worthwhile cause!
If you have some time and can lend a hand, please give Meredith Donaldson a call at the FoRB office (573-815-9255) or e-mail mjdonlsn@aol.com |
