fourth Tuesday of every month for programs and
activities that provide information on issues concerning the
wonders and resources to be found in Rock Bridge Memorial State
Park . The Friends members also co-ordinate park clean-up
projects, educational activities, and the March

of some of the educational programs that take place in the park,
including the Patches for Participation Program. The benefits of membership in the Friends group extends beyond supporting the educational activities of the park naturalists. Friends members also receive the quarterly "Bridge" newsletter which is filled with updates, information and articles regarding; park events, natural history events, and species reports. In addition, the camaraderie that has emerged between Friends members is a feeling beyond what mere words can express.
